RANGES consist of five 100-yard rifle ranges, three 50 yard rifle ranges, one 25 yard rifle range and five pistol positions ranging from 7 – 25 yards.
A Range Safety Officer (RSO) will be present whenever the ranges are open. The RSO’s are there to assure safe firearm use and not to “watch over your shoulder.” The LCSC understands that the majority of our members and guests are safe gun owners/users. The LCSC wants to assure that when there are multiple shooters that cease fires are called to assure the safety of everyone using the ranges.

During the month of November, the range will also be open on Saturdays from NOON to 4:00PM (Nov 1st, 8th and 15th)
The week prior to Opening Gun Season, the range will be open everyday as follows:

| The Range will be closed for the remaining of the year after this. | Frozen Fingers days will be scheduled again starting in January, 2026 thru April, 2026 until the official opening day |
When coming to the Range, please be sure to bring eye and ear protection along with targets (paper only). The Club does have targets available for purchase. All firearms must be in cases when approaching the RSO Welcome Hut and until reaching the shooting house.
A 3-Station Archery range is available for use by members whenever the ranges are open (hours of operation are listed above). The targets are set at 25, 35 and 45 yards and can be used with bows and crossbows. Please use only practice tips…no broadheads.
